Technical documentation regarding Nexus Market operations. Review security protocols, payment logic, and escrow standards below.
Platform Infrastructure
Nexus Market is a secure, next-generation darknet marketplace architected for privacy and resilience. Unlike legacy markets, Nexus employs a custom-coded backend that prioritizes operational security (OpSec) for both vendors and buyers.
Key infrastructure features include:
- Distributed mirror network to mitigate DDoS attacks.
- Walletless payment system (Direct Pay) to reduce server-side risk.
- Mandatory PGP encryption for sensitive data fields.
- Support for Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC).
Cryptographic verification is the only method to ensure you are not on a MITM (Man-in-the-Middle) site. The primary verified address is:
rmnvwgxnat4m4o6whqvh6dy7fhnasxa6cndufyrztgahtxwdhgr7thid.onion
Upon reaching the login page, locate the PGP-signed message. Import the official Nexus Market public key into your GPG keychain (Kleopatra/GPG4Win) and verify the signature. If the signature is valid, the session is secure.
Yes. Nexus Market operates as a closed ecosystem to prevent crawling and indexing by clearnet bots. Registration is anonymous; no email or personal data is requested. You must generate a unique Username, Password, and Withdrawal PIN. We strongly advise enabling PGP 2FA immediately upon account creation to secure your wallet and order history.
Security Architecture
PGP Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is the gold standard for account security. When enabled, the server presents a PGP-encrypted challenge message during login. This message can only be decrypted using your private key.
Process:
- Server generates a random alphanumeric string.
- Server encrypts this string with your Public Key.
- You decrypt the block and paste the string into the verification field.
- Access is granted only if the string matches.
Note: PGP 2FA is mandatory for all Vendor accounts.
Nexus Market enforces a zero-knowledge policy where possible. Shipping addresses provided during checkout are encrypted with the Vendor's PGP key. This means the marketplace administration cannot read shipping details even if compelled. Messages are auto-deleted after a set retention period (usually 30 days). We strongly recommend users encrypt all sensitive text locally (client-side) before pasting it into the site.
Financial Logistics
Nexus supports two payment modes:
- Walletless Pay (Recommended): An invoice is generated for a specific order. You send the exact amount from your personal wallet to the invoice address. Once confirmed, the order processes automatically. This limits your exposure as funds are not stored on the market longer than necessary.
- Account Balance: Users can deposit funds into a central wallet for convenience when making multiple small purchases. These funds remain until spent or withdrawn.
Nexus utilizes a standard escrow system to mitigate fraud. Funds are held in a multisig-protected cold wallet until the buyer confirms receipt (Finalize) or the auto-finalize timer expires.
Timers: Physical (14-21 days), Digital (48 hours).
If an order does not arrive or is defective, the buyer must click "Dispute" before the timer reaches zero. This action freezes the funds and summons a moderator. The moderator will review chat logs and vendor shipping proof to issue a refund or release funds.
Vendor Operations
Nexus Market is currently operating with a No Vendor Bond policy to encourage market diversity and migration from defunct platforms. However, established vendor status from other markets (Recon/Dread verified) is required for immediate FE (Finalize Early) privileges. New vendors without history start at Level 1 with strict escrow limits.
Strict enforcement of the prohibited items list is automated via keyword filters and manual moderation. The following are strictly banned:
- Fentanyl and analogues (Zero Tolerance)
- Child Exploitation Material (CSAM)
- Murder for Hire / Hitman services
- Weapons / Explosives
- Poisons / Ricin
Violation results in immediate account termination and blacklist.
